An example of simulation of planar antennas such as patch
antennas is explained here. In simulating the antenna, impedance,
directional characteristic, directional gain and current distribution
can be calculated. S-NAP/Field can simulate an antenna that
has a reflected image with use of the wall surface because
it conducts analysis of the shielded domain. In addition to
this, terminating the impedance of upper and lower faces of
the analysis domain by the mode impedance enables simulation
of not only the patch antenna, but also the print dipole.
